BDA citation guidelines

 

Historians provide references (citations) so that other researchers can find the source of information to verify its accuracy. The citation should be sufficient to lead another person to the same entry.

 

To cite entries from the search results:

Name of person, BDA on-line, date of search

 

To cite entries in the Biographical Report:

BDA Biographical report for xxxxx, person ID ######

BDA on-line, date of search

 

Biographical reports should not be reproduced without permission from BDA.
